PRESSING RECOMENDATIONS

1. Use a lint roller to remove any lint on the t-shirt’s press area.
2. Pre-press the garment for 5-7 seconds to remove moisture.
3. Place the design on the garment and press according to “Press Settings” below. You may need to do a few test prints to find the optimal press settings for your specific equipment and environment.
4. HOT PEEL - In one smooth motion peel the film from the corner. Peel at a medium to quick motion. Do not peel slowly.
5. Post-press the garment for 5 seconds.
*NOTE: When pressing, using a teflon sheet between the press and the design produces the best results

PRESS SETTINGS

1. Actual press settings wil differ due to equipment used and environmental conditions. We ALWAYS recommend testing before starting any run.

2. Press at medium to high pressure.

 3. Best DTF In Orange County uses a hot peel film. Suggested temperature settings.

 a. 100% Cotton:  start at 280-310F for 5-15 seconds and adjust as necessary

b. Polyester Blend:  275-305F for 5-10 seconds and adjust as necessary.

c. 100% Polyester:  275-300F for 5-10 seconds and adjust as necessary.

d. Full Sublimated 100% Polyester:  260-300F for 5-10 seconds and adjust as necessary. Heavy Pressure. Lower temps will reduce re-gassing of the Sublimation inks. You will have to find that sweet spot to limit dye migration and make sure your prints are properly set.

4. Post press

Peel film, and post-press at medium to heavy pressure for 5-10 seconds after pressing.
